Printing is regarded as the method that is used to impose a content of ink upon a base material such as paper or canvas etc. It is done using a particular pressure of ink or another coloring agent in a particular area in the form of either test or the form of an image. These images are called as printed as the ink used has imposed or imprinted their impression upon the base material.
Anyhow, with the growth of technology and the progress of mechanics, the process of imprinting is not solely based on mechanical pressure or another basic coloring agent. They have as well been developed and are replaced with other modern electronic technology. Various methods are used for the process of printing in the latest days. The types of printing are further classified into three based on their process and usage. They are:

In the process of litho printing, the image is first imposed upon a metal plate and then converted to a rubber blanket. The blanket is used for printing upon paper. This process thus, explains the process of printing to be offset as the image is first imposed upon the metal plate and then transferred to the material.
- Screen printing:
Screen printing is the method that is used for printing a large volume of products. Generally, products in large quantities will have a cheaper price rate as the price per copy is reduced. These bulk products are printed in screen printing to make the process quick and effective.
- Digital printing:
The process of digital printing makes use of powder toner over normal ink for the cause of printing. It is the most convenient process as in digital printing the image is directly transferred from the system into the paper. It also has the most reduced setup cost and offers great returns.
